Ajinkya Rahane is an Indian cricketer and former captain and vice-captain of the Indian cricket team. He currently captains Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He is the former captain of Mumbai. He played primarily as a middle-order batsman in the Test format and as a top-order batsman in white-ball forms of the game. India lost only one match under his captaincy.
