Katherine Anne Legge is a British racing driver who is set to compete in the 2026 Indianapolis 500 for A. J. Foyt Racing, ran by HMD Motorsports. Legge has competed in the highest levels of global motorsport, including NASCAR, IndyCar Series, IMSA SportsCar Championship. She holds the record for the fastest qualifying effort for a woman in Indianapolis 500 history, set in 2023, and became the first woman to win a major open-wheel race in North America in 2005. In NASCAR, Legge is the most recent woman to start a NASCAR Cup Series race.
